About Noco Sound and Stage

Noco Sound and Stage was founded in July of 2025 by Collin Orr. Although the business is rather new, Collin's experience in the live production world goes way back.

Collin formally began his career as a graduate of the famous Blackbird Academy in Nashville, TN where he graduated top of his class from the Live Sound Engineering program in 2016 and trained under visionaries like John McBride, Kevin Becka, and Mark Rubel. Collin then went on to further his education at Colorado State University where he graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. While attending CSU, Collin put his sound engineering degree to work, gaining employment at several different music venues in the Northern Colorado area, working with artists such as:

In addition to working at these venues, Collin began to work as a freelance audio engineer, putting his skills to work at events such as weddings, graduation parties, festivals, and private parties. It was through working these events that Collin gained a passion for partnering with others to make their productions and events a success. Because of this passion and a growing collection of equipment, Collin made the decision to found Noco Sound and Stage.
